On Wednesday 5th of April my sister Megan went to her gymnastics lesson. It was a normal session really with Gayle, Julie, Anya and Devin. The lesson started with a 10 minute warm up, followed by some simple stretches on the floor. They were then separated into smaller groups to work on the beam, bars, floor and vault.
Megan’s group started on the bars they were doing casting on the bars, this is where you keep your body straight and upright pushing your hips and lower body away from the bar at the same time.
The group then moved onto the beam, they walked along the beam and did a huge variety of jumps off the end. This is one of the easiest gymnastic moves there is to learn but it important that a gymnast learns these jumps and lands.
Moving onto the vault, the group then completed skills known as squat on, again this is quite a simple move for beginners to learn.
Finally, they headed back to the floor to practice backward and forward rolls, handstands and cartwheels.
Gymnastics is not at all an easy task and every person has to learn it according to training. In order to get education about it, just visit the and you will collect more lessons regarding the familiar concept.
